Lemmy was rumoured ot have got cancer about 10 years back. It is truly painful now. If you have good memories of Motorhead gigs, sterr clear. He has to be walked to the stage, has "tight" jeans taht hang loose on skeleton legs where you can clearly see the bulge of his nappy underneath. It is pitiful. It's no Any Winhouse story of him being forced to go out, he just doesn't know when to quit......as always.

Angus is virtually a chain smoker, always has been, and was doing the oxygen thing back in the 70's. If you watch some of the shows back then, its no wonder!

To be fair, Angus has used oxygen on stage for at least 30 years.Probably longer.

I was thinking of buying a ticket for Motorhead in January but am weighing up the odds of Lemmy actually making it to the gigs. They've cancelled quite a lot in recent years due to his health (lack of).

Is it just ticketbastard selling them ?

Re: The first gig at the Olympic Stadium is....
Last time I saw these was a few years ago. They still rocked a good show, even if Angus needed an oxygen mask just out of sight of teh audience. He'd pop back every now and then and take a blast...very Blue Velvet Dennis Hopper style.

He can't be anywhere near as bad as Lemmy from Motorhead. Now there is a DEAD MAN WALKING. They were here a couple of weeks back and it's painful to see. Him and the guitarist both need a morphine shot before every gig. :-(

Would love it if they went out at Glastonbury 2016.

Never going to happen unfortunately.

Everybody suspects these will be the last DC dates in Europe full stop, so London will get hit very hard tomorrow.

Lot of folk travelling abroad, particularly the Lisbon gig which is the same date as the last Boleyn game.

Gutted.

Fair enough. Just know that I tried half an hour after they went on sale, got through straight away and bought tickets.

I wouldn't be surprised to see further dates added if the first two sell out quickly. Big gap between them at the moment..

Re: The first gig at the Olympic Stadium is....
Think the tickets for Wembley this year were around £70 and they didn't sell out that quickly (well at least not in the first 20 minutes).

Re: The first gig at the Olympic Stadium is....
I wish they sold them at a different time of the year. last year was the same, completely when a lot of people are short of dough, and why can't these ticket sites just be honest?

Re: The first gig at the Olympic Stadium is....
thing is, one site is saying £55 for Manchester but weren't the Wembley tickets almost £100 last year?

Played here on Tuesday night. 27 noise complaints, and a guy 8km away reckoned he could hear them.

Had a quick little drive past for a free listen, and they were superb.
